To ensure a successful scan, please follow these steps: 1) Use cotton rolls to gently retract your lips and cheeks. 2) Position the tip of your tongue touching the posterior palate. 3) Maintain a 1-2 mm gap between your upper and lower teeth. You can use a cotton roll to help achieve this. 4) Stay still and avoid any motion during the scan.
Yes. Before starting any protocol, it is important to determine if the patient has loose gingiva or is fully edentulous. 1) Reline an existing denture with a medium body HYDRORISE IMPLANT or similar silicone-based medium body. ( https://www.zhermack.com/public/uploads/F121100_17-09_Hydrorise_Implant_EN_low-) 2) Please instruct the patient to bite down on the relined prosthesis. 3- Scan the inside and outside of the relined model and send it to us. Please try to make the medium body overflow out of the prosthesis. This will help us to make the 3d matching.
